So Whats All the Noise in Nashville?

So what's all the noise about? My upcoming trip to Nashville Tennessee
I've been pinging around the music industry both sides of the Atlantic for almost 15 years now, If I had a dollar, or a pound for every time someone mentioned the buzzing central us state as being the center of where it's at, I would now be writing this from with in my private pilatus pc12 cruising at 18'00 feet.
I alike many others didn't ever consider visiting for the simple reason that we were led to believe that Nashville was only really a vital musicians hub if you played a particular genre of music, in nashvilles case, country music.
But as much as I have been advised to visit in the past I am now told that Nashville has evolved into being a hub not only for country music but for all music, including if I'm told correctly, rap?
I'll have to see the later for myself, thats why my team and I have decided to put in a trip to Nashville this fall, for how long, well that depends on how much buzz I can make myself playing my original music.
I'm hoping to meet musicians and industry folk alike, I already have a pretty extensive people to meet list and am excited to see what this much talked about city is all about.
